Case11: T5000 Upgrade Failure By CLI

Issue Description:

gNB fails to upgrade by CLI commands and reports ERROR “YEAS 2000 IS TOO OLD”

Note: Upgrade by CLI commands cant inherit parameter configuration.

Troubleshooting Procedure:
Query BBU system date by command: date

It shows Year 2000. Suspect CMOS battery aging. Power off for 5 minutes and power on again to double confirm. If the system date is still Year 2000 which Can
verify CMOS battery run out or low voltage and need be replaced.

Solution
3.1 Temporary solution:
Modify the system date manually and upgrade. #Date -s “Year-Month-Day Hour-Minute-Second” #hwclock -w
3.2 Permanent solution:
Replace CMOS battery.
